Like many of its type, the program simply presents the information known to date, there is no closeing conclusion. Think of it as work in progress.
The investigation needs to continue but will be much harder than simply collating and presenting information on the mutilations.
The program did show opinions of a vet, which was good, they are the experts on how the animal might have died. But they will not want to be seen to speak too openly on the subject.
If Derfa have any information I think we should know, being a Govt. body they no doubt are sworn to secrecy, FoA (Freedom of Info) could be useful here. As Richard did, I'd like to hear the phone conversations and emails, as these will show how obstinate Defra are. I'd be interested to see the response from the NFU and what action (rather than talk) they are taking. You would think as a Union, they would be concerned their members are suffering losses and seek to get answers. Consider, usually the NFU man sells insurance to farmers.
Where are the Anti Cruelty to Animals and Animal Rights brigade.
And don't forget, our agriculture is a very effective tool in controlling the masses. Maybe worth an easy-view program on the subject.
