At the risk of stating the bleeeeding obvious; what HAARP does exactly, is unkown. What we 'do know', is that it can deliver/fire 1 billion watts of energy, into the Ionosphere.
So, it is a directed energy device/weapon, but it is pointing up...how could that impact on quakes? Well, maybe what it does, is to fire (from Earth) up to a satellite reflector dish/mirror array - and back down onto a 'targeted' zone, back on Earth.
So, now we are 'cooking' (pardon the pun) James Bond style!
It could (also) be used, to interfere with the Electro Magnetic Field, which we are all connected to (as transmitters/recievers) and seriously fkin with our noggins...inducing cellular damage (immune system attack/supression) making us prone to disease/sickness (natural or bio-weaponised)
I have read, that it also 'controls' and manipulates the weather. It may help explain 'why' the Met Office can't forecast for sh*te, at this moment in time, this despite having recently aquired 'son of big blue' (shiny new IBM mainframe computer)
Final thought; It may also be a 'space weapon'.Clearly, TPTB are also involved with an 'off planet' struggle - clear evidence of increasing 'visitors' and 'inter dimensional' visitors to our blue planet; maybe HAARP is a shield/weapon, to counter visitirs with greater technological capability?
Not good: What we do know, is that TPTB are fighting their own struggle, they are not doing it for us. We were sold out, a long time back! We are 'useless feeders' (their terms not mine)
I lied about my final thought. (this really is my final thought)- Our solar system (inc Sun) are moving into the dead centre of the Galaxy. The 'records' (11,500 - 12,000 yrs) be they cave paintings, stories, symbols, all tell of a cataclysmic cycle of events, that occur around this time frame. One of these 'events' - is a cosmic wave (from the centre) that bombards earth (and the Sun) with iridium particles (found in core sample isotopes)
We are also in a period of increasing solar activity (cycle 24) which is 'why' I believe, they constructed the 'global warming' as a cover story - anyhoo...
This 'cosmic radiation' and solar activity, may also be increasing tectonic plate activity, as the temperature of the core, may be warming or reacting? Part guess-ta- mate based on my joining of dots (way beyond my o level in physics, and my failed o level in chemistry)
In other news: well, as for The news. This past ten years or so, the weather is THE news. The whole global warming conditioning (fear and pseudo religion) has been constant. Everytime it floods, the wind gets up, the snow! Its news!!
(we always used to get snow at winter) - it goes away - it comes back - guess what, ITS A SIGN.
Well, maybe it is. The times, they are a changing...

DPS... thanks for your contribution... extremely interesting and much there to 'chew on'. The only area of your theorising I would question however is your quote regarding the news/media coverage where you state: "This past ten years or so, the weather is THE news. Although I would agree with your summation that the media does tend to focus on any slight weather change however major or minor, the recent focus on reporting almost every earthquake is a new behaviour trait. Why is this? Perhaps it is a tool of fear-mongering - or - a subtle way of leading the masses towards some kind of forthcoming major false flag 'natural' disaster on a scale not seen or collectively felt across the world since 9/11 (perhaps?).
The media's fascination with reporting almost every change in the movement of weather could be due to a range of reasons. Yes... as many on this thread claim, it could be fear-mongering, but then again (as you rightly claim, DPS) - judging by the way the media focuses on even the most trivial of weather changes - it may just be a classic case of smoke-screen tactics as a way of diverting our attention away from REAL news. However.. there could even be a case - although unlikely - for claiming that the British TV media news channels are attempting to appeal to the nation's famous fascination for weather 'gossip'.

By the way... thanks to you all for not openly teasing me following my decision to start this thread. As I have stated, my knowledge of geology/science/chemistry is almost nil. Despite this, I've decided to go ahead with the risk of ridicule (and the odd titter). I've stuck my head above the parapet for nothing more than a personally-held and very loose theory based on little else but a 'gut feeling' that something isn't quite right regarding the 2010 quakes and the media reports.

Yes, I too - like you - noticed a certain calmness. It actually looked like a very pleasant place to live (earthquake or not ).
Hi silverman... maybe it's down to one's own perception, but there does (to me) appear to be a red ring in the sky, although you can only see about a quarter of it.

Birds are very sensitive to change, and have a nack of predicting quakes. They didn't look or sound stressed to me? (fly away Peter, fly away Paul)
Lights in the sky before a quake is quite common, a disturbance in the magnetic field perhaps?
But rings have been linked to haarp.
The red eye over Australia & the US are examples.
This may explain the eye better? Pretty pics though.

Thanks Angryhead for starting this thread. Something has been on my mind for some time now and thanks to this thread i can now tell people and ask for their honest opinions/thoughts ! I was hoping that someone else might mention something along the same lines first.
I was in two minds whether to post this or not, just in case you all thought i was a 'nutter' but then i thought what the hell. So here goes !
I am not a religious person at all but for some time now i have noticed that i seem to come across a lot of stuff to do with the so called 'end times', i just can't seem to get away from it.
In the 'end times prophecy' (as many will already know) one of the signs is, the increase in frequency and strength of earthquakes.
There are many other signs. Some, if not most of which seem to be happening of late (wars, famines, plagues, and more). Many of which seem to be highlighted in the main stream media.
How many religions have the same signs in their 'end times prophecy' ? A great upheaval (up'evil') just before the end times and the return (second coming) of their 'Christ'.
Will all religions see or be shown their 'Christs'. Will the 'Christs' of all religions then merge into one, resulting in a one world religion (another sign) ?
Then could the religious (one religion), believing they are on the side of good (Christ, God), be used to fight the non-religious, believing (being told) they are on the side of evil (Anti-Christ, Satan) ? One last great war (Armageddon).
Are the so called 'powers that be' creating the signs of the 'end time prophecy' to create and control a one world religion ? If the ptb do control the media, what better way could there be to let the religious see 'the signs' !
Maybe this could be too far fetched, but i do agree with others when they say, that something does not seem quite right with the earthquakes and the media reports about them (as well as the recent 'wars', 'swine flu', 'global warming', ect...).
After reading this post back to myself, i realise that it is only the basics of what i have running through my mind, anyway i hope that i have managed to express the gist of it.
It may seem 'way out there' as theories go but that's all it is at the moment, a theory ! However, i will be watching closely to see if any of the other signs of the 'end times' start to manifest themselves !

This will undoubtedly have some shaking their heads!! have a look at the following from the book Need To Know by Timothy Good.
Based on information by a high ranking source in the late 1980s,some aliens posed a threat to the environment due to messing around with tectonic plates in the Pacific Ocean,and the presence of the alien ships in our oceans was causing,or at least contributing to the warming of the waters.Supposedly,the aliens had been requested by a few in the military who had access to them to vacate their undersea bases...request ignored!!

I agree. Creating this thread, was neccessary. (Note: We do and have discussed this previously) but occasionally, it will end up posted on an entirely different subject (making it difficult to search)
My point on the news; working on the basis that our news is being 'driven' (boasted about in the James Bond films/books) - there can be no doubt; The reporting of natural disasters is deliberatly playing on (generating) the 'fear factor' of humanity. As are the global climate change agenda stories...
Fear makes us weaker. In fact, FEAR is kryptonite to us Hu.Man beings It can paralyse us...
The globalists have had tectonic weaponry since the 1940's - As I have said before, the US wanted to destroy Japan with tectonic weapons. It was 'back' engineered ET technology.(before HAARP)
Haiti was a 'punishment' and a money scam. Papa Doc removed the Jesuits some years back, and the US were applying severe sanctions on behalf of the one world goverment (United Nations)
Note: how the airport and main roads managed to 'survive' the quake, and how quickly the US was all over Haiti (like they we ready...)
The Clinton/Bush family fellons have done this before (massive charity fraud/theft) with Katrina (HAARP)- this can be varified with the global financial analyst, Christopher Story, London. Diverting many millions into their coffers..
They will run the same scam with Haiti (perhaps someone has tried to stop Clinton) hence his visits to hospital. Certainly, the Eastern brotherhood were not happy with this takedown, and Intel sources spoke of him being 'at risk'.

i think "end times"could mean the end of the age or aeon.or cycle.then a new one starts{golden perhaps}.next one starts 2012.is far as i can see.

We are heading to an end point. How that end point materializes may be 'open' (still) - either the 'big reset button' in the sky is hit, the planet shakes us off (like a dog drying its coat off) and we become just another fleeting moment in Earths long history, or the Reptillian overlords may get to nuke the planet first and we all end up in a fight for our survival (which we appear to be in) what ever 'timeline' comes to pass.
We need to be ready spiritually for those days. Physical survival will not be possible, unless We are spiritually connected back to the creator God (within us all)
